Bing Ads’ New “Notify Me” Rules Automatically Email Campaign Alerts

Create rules at all levels of your account to get email alerts about key performance metrics.

bing ads notify me rulesEarlier this summer, Bing Ads launched automated rules in the interface. Adding to these capabilities, you can now use the new “Notify me when” option to schedule automated email alerts about what’s happening in your campaigns.

The “Notify me when” option is located under the Automate tab, and notifications can be set at the campaign, ad group, ad and keyword levels to alert you about the status of just about any metric — e.g., budget, quality score, return on ad spend, click-through rates. You can apply a notification to all entities at a certain level or select a particular campaign, for example, to monitor.

Of course, you don’t want want to get inundated with alerts. Depending on the urgency level, you can schedule alerts to push out daily, weekly, monthly or even just once. You then set the time span you want the rule to be based on  — There are a number of options such as previous day, same day, previous business week, previous three months. You can also set the time and a time zone for an alert, so it doesn’t have to based on the time zone of the account.
