The 136th Canton Fair shows a surge in smart and sustainable home appliances

The first phase of the 136th Canton Fair, which will be held from October 15 to 19, is now underway. The Electronics & Home Appliances category has more than 3,000 exhibitors, with a total of 193,700 products uploaded to the online platform, an increase of 47.41% compared to the previous edition.

The fair highlights industry advancements and trends toward new companies, products, technologies and business models. In the home appliance exhibition section, Galanz, a key exhibitor, is showcasing more than 200 products in over 10 categories, including integrated home appliances such as microwaves, refrigerators and smart home solutions. “In this session, Galanz’s exhibition booth is the largest ever,” said a Galanz representative.

A variety of new smart home appliances for daily life have captured the attention of global buyers. Guangzhou Mianhong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is showcasing smart TVs with functions including voice control and facial recognition. These TVs meet various needs, from high-definition movies and 3A games to video calls and online education, all with superior visual and audio quality.

Olansi Health Industry Co., Ltd. introduces its new water purifying coffee machine, which combines water purification and coffee brewing, satisfying the need for clean, fast water and tasty coffee for busy workers. Meanwhile, EKO Development Limited’s sensor trash can, which features smart sorting and ozone disinfection, has also gained significant interest as EKO aims to improve the aesthetics and convenience of the home, transforming trash cans into more than just waste disposal tools.

Zhejiang Crossbow Brand Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. brings a bladeless purifying fan that combines a fan, purifier and intelligent control. According to the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, China ‘s home appliance exports rose by 14.7 percent in the first eight months of 2024. This growth highlights the success of Chinese intelligent manufacturing companies in meeting market demand and driving product innovation.
