Article spinning comes under black hat SEO techniques which reflect bad reputation to the rest of the industry. The basic factor of article spinning is that your write one article and submits that article to several article submission sites. With the help of synonyms your article might be change but around 90% of the whole content remains the same. You load an article full of links and send it on its merry way. Sounds like a great way to get links, right?

I think a lot of small business owners turn to article spinning because they are affected by the amount of content a solid content marketing campaign needs to be successful. Well article spinning assumes that it is very easy, and it looks like it produces the same benefits—links. But if you think that the only aim of content marketing campaign for getting several backlinks as possible, but you are doing it totally wrong!

There are a few big reasons by article spinning doesn’t work and could potentially hurt your brand in the long run.

1. Spammy Article Submission Sites:

And Google’s Panda update declared war on those sites! These sites are not knowledgeable and not provide useful information in the online realm. 2. Duplicate content isn’t useful:

Repetitive content might be frustrating the reader on the same topic. It really irritates them. For instance – Your favorite program on TV you don’t want to watch the same episode frequently.  The same concept is applied for the content marketing.
