Twitter Is Engage In More User’s Amount Through E-mail
May 26th
This week, Twitter has begun implementing new e-mail alerts. While Twitter has ads for things like direct messages, new members and updates the Twitter Twitter Previously, the company tweeted that more notifications when someone follows someone or retweet favorite tweets.
New notifications may seem a small addition to the services of Twitter, but suggest that Twitter has to rely on email to keep users involved – at least more consistently. Colleen Taylor GigaOM has this idea further, saying that “might be a red flag that Twitter will remove the stickiness problem.” She writes:
Twitter strategy in this department is to compare the frequency with other social networking sites like Facebook to send e-mail alerts.
As technology e-mail is of course nothing new, the decision to Twitter to stay out of users’ mailboxes has always seemed like a reflection of a larger corporate philosophy. Twitter co-founder Evan Williams told the New York Times in 2007 as Twitter, “adds a layer of information and connection to the lives of people who were not there before and have the potential to be great Part of the way people keep in touch with each other. “In an interview with NPR earlier this year,” said Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, he “absolutely [user] reading a lot more time than writing tweet.” By failing to send a mass e-mails for all these years and Twitter may have tried to prove a point: Receive emails on Twitter activity over time seems just as ridiculous as receive calls to your inbox.
I do not know about phone calls to your inbox, but phone calls to your inbox seem to be very well received.
Inbox still reigns supreme in the first line of online communications. Although it may be cluttered with mail, sometimes it is still where most Internet users go to check important messages, and social networks – even Twitter and Facebook depend to some extent.
Of course, additional e-mail notifications are not the only thing Twitter has been done to increase the commitment. The company has bought the popular Twitter client TweetDeck.

The Rumor for iphone 5 : The Curved Glass
May 24th
Rumor Mill continues to churn out speculation about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5 while recent rumors that sport remains taser and / or management of functional teleportation device is exposed, the recent one is almost as cool.
It’s a report from DigiTimes says that the IPhone 5 would be available with a curved glass cover. As per their industry sources, Apple has bought somewhere between 200 and 300 glass cutting tools for the production of these curves covers.
By Sources:
Due to the large capital glass cover makers are unwilling to invest to buy glass cutting tool, the sources said.
Glass cutting machines are currently stored in facilities and associated assembly line will once the rate of return for the production of curved glass reaches a satisfactory level.
You are looking increasingly likely that we will not see the iPhone until sometime in 2012. For a while, we thought we could see the 5 ship off September, 2011, but according to recent data, instead you get an improved version of the iPhone 4, 4S.
The 4S will be a less dramatic upgrade that the suspected iPhone 5, with slight cosmetic changes, a better camera and perhaps faster processor according to reports.
IPhone 5, when it hits, is a strong possibility to carrying LTE 4G connectivity. Other rumors about the iPhone 5 suggests a larger screen, perhaps more than 4 inches, HD video and that may be issued in various models. But these reports can be wrong about the differences between 4S and the 5 as two different iPhone 5 models.
An earlier rumor that the IPhone 5would include NFC capabilities for the mobile payments has been shot recently.
Earlier this month, a new patent filed by Apple has emerged that suggests that future iPhone models may consider voice and text to speech. Do not know if it will fall into the 4S, the 5 or model in any way on the road.

LinkedIn Shares Inflate After IPO
May 20th
A smart career social networking site LinkedIn has announced its decision to go public, and the reaction of the first trading day was fantastic. Initially the service stocks are priced at about $ 45 per share, but after a relatively short period of time, the share price has nearly doubled LinkedIn.
A quick look at the exchange notes that LinkedIn (LNKD) is quoted $ 91.72 per share, clearly indicating the start of the LinkedIn IPO proceeds as a huge success. In fact, the stock opened trading LNKD $ 83, almost $ 40 to add your original shares. So what happens? Why LinkedIn’s first trading day was such a success?
In fact, the dot com boom scare no longer exists and investors are willing to spend their money on tech companies, especially ones that are apart of the social media world. Whereas the fear of another dot com bust has died down.
Because LinkedIn’s initial attack into the world of public trading has been such a smashing success, people have begun speculating about what will happen if/when services like Facebook and Twitter go public.
Facebook may be the present golden calf, but the confidence surrounding its potential IPO is fueled directly by the success of LinkedIn. Granted, Facebook may finally sell for more stock, but it will owe a great deal of gratefulness to LinkedIn for proving the confidence in trading social media companies is indeed high.

Twitter allows users more control over data
May 19th
Twitter has announced that it has made some changes to the way users control third-party applications that use the service. The initiative is called “Mission: Permission” focuses on the concepts of greater control permissions for users and more detailed display.
“As today we give you more control over what information you share with third party applications,” said Jodi Olson Twitter. “Apps that you use to access your messages directs you to ask permission again. At the end of the month programs have direct access to your messages no longer have it and you can continue to use these applications as usual. ”
“When an application connects to Twitter, we’ll give you more details about what application you’re using for your account,” says Olson. “These activities may include reading tweets, to see who to monitor, update your profile, post tweets for you, or direct access to messages. If you are not satisfied with the level of access to applications, simply say:” No Thank you. ”
Twitter does not arise in the privacy of the conversation as much as some of his companions, and that’s probably because Twitter is generally considered a more open and public (though clearly not used this way). However, it is always good to see the improvements.
Users can still check the “Applications” page of your Twitter account to see all applications that connect to, and make modifications from there.

Facebook’s Checkin and Places Functionality
May 18th
Facebook has confirmed with them that it has started bringing Facebook Places functionality (including Check-In Deals) to Facebook Pages that have street addresses. Local businesses, pay attention. Facebook tells us this automatic merge of Pages and Places ‘makes things easier for Page administrators. By expanding the number of Pages that can run Check in Deals, Facebook may be looking to drive user awareness and engagement with the product and earn money off of it through ads promoting the incentives. Facebook is certainly not new to business pages, but the increased functionality, stacked up to new and forthcoming features for Google’s Place Pages, means more direct competition as the go-to place for consumers to look up local business info, find deals, and even check in. Meanwhile, Facebook launched Checkin Deals in November that can be used to incentivize checkins with discounts or charity donations. This may give users a sense of how it feels to be the place to represent the page, and learn what’s happening in real time. If the Place of page with the same name and address already exists, can be rolled into the official site. Microsoft shaked hand with Skype
May 17th
After shaking hands with Nokia and RIM, now Microsoft has made a big deal of 8.5 million with Skype. Skype who is having much more users than twitter, has recently announced a record of 30 million online users at a time. Where it’s Skype’s second deal, who has been bought and sold by eBay. Since Skype released from it has been quite busy adding features and functionalities. Clearly, Skype has a big user base, and users have the right to be worried about what is going to become of their beloved service in the hands of a giant like Microsoft. Microsoft says it will continue to invest in and support Skype clients on non-Microsoft platforms. ReadWriteWeb’s Founding Editor Richard MacManus argued that the companies together could make big waves in two key parts of the future: mobile and the connected home. And as per my point of view this deal has raised fear for the users and Skype fans.
